community means everything
We support the community we live, work & thrive in.
Wallawa Traffic Group is proud to be part of and support a diverse range of community groups, events, organisations and sporting teams.
Illawarra Hawks.
Wallawa Traffic Group is delighted to be a multi-year supporter of and direct player sponsor for the Illawarra Hawks “6” Davo Hickey. We are proud to stand by our local team across their premiership winning season in 2024, and backing it up now in 2025.
Wallawa has also proudly supported the pink round of the NBL1 at the Snake Pit.
Illawarra Women in business
Wallawa is proudly a member and Platinum sponsor of IWIB. We enjoy attending the lunches, events and coffee clubs and we are grateful to Glenda for the opportunities that we have received. A highlight for us and in particular our founder Bec, was winning the 2025 IWIB Outstanding Commitment to the Community.
convoy 2025
Wallawa proudly provided support to Ross Transport and their main open day for donation and fundraising towards meeting their lead truck goal for 2025. We supported across traffic control and management onsite at the Port Kembla Truck Terminal, ensuring a safe and enjoyable day to accomodate the huge influx of people, and trucks within the terminal area.
HEALTHIER ILLAWARRA MEN
Wallawa where proud Silver sponsors at this years’ 2025 HIM International Men’s Day Lunch, held on Friday 14 November. The event shines a national and local spotlight on men’s mental health, and included the attendance of Lord Ian Botha’s OBE.
NEED A FEED
The dedicated team at Need a Feed are doing an amazing job of supporting our community in these challenging times.
The opportunity to give to those who are struggling and seeing the joy it brings to their lives as we provide them with food is truly heartwarming, and we feel privileged to be involved in this wonderful event
TALK 2 ME BRO
Wallawa means stop here!! Now in the traffic world it’s pretty obvious right. But it’s also stop here if you need a chat need a shoulder to cry on some one who will listen and not judge. Our phones are always on.
CHRISTMAS TOY
APPEAL
Thousands of households face uncertainty heading into the festive season with a growing number of people reaching out for assistance due to soaring cost of living pressures.
In 2024 our dedicated staff packed around 60 presents that were then distributed among this amazingly strong, proud, and welcoming, community.
WHAT WOMEN WANT ILLAWARRA
Karen (Owner of Skin Correctives) and Natasha (Owner of Busy Goddess Marketing Co) are local dedicated small business owners, mum’s, and integral members of our local and extended communities respectively, who believe in always supporting those who are less fortunate, and take pride in bringing together a diverse and amazing circle of women to share in their dream for their charity partners to hit their own respective fundraising goals.
KIAMA’S ULTRA CHALLENGE
This year Bec and Tash joined forces as part of the IWIB team for the Kiama Ultra Challenge. We took turns rowing, to meet the collective goal of our fearless leader Nardia. We will not be giving up our day jobs, however to attend and be part of a team effort, and raise funds for another community initiative sits at the heart of our Wallawa Traffic Group ethos. Working in the community, and giving back to the community.
